We got really good service and the food was really good. We went as a large group and did not wait for long. All the food was served hot. We like all the spicy Chinese food - they were not too spicy. Szechuan chili was so amazing with all stir-fried. Xiao long paos were also good - served in steam baskets. My Thai tea was not too sweet - I like it. The price was also not too expensive.

Very spicy mapo tofu! Delicious and tongue numbing. Hot & sour soup was typical. Wontons with chili oil were the best I’ve ever had. Service was quick & humble. Ordered some mongolian beef, spring rolls & egg drop soup to go. My wife loved the rolls & soup. The amount of meat in the mongolian beef was excellent but it was a little too salty and didn’t have a lot of onions.

This was a great spot to have stopped for a quick bday lunch for my son who turned 19. Everything was so good and the service was on point. The server learned all of our names and addressed us as such during our dining experience and that was a first anywhere. I cant say one dish was better than the other but I can say we all enjoyed thoroughly!

Urban Hai, in the middle of midtown, feels like one of those places where the universe finally decides to be kind for an evening. The staff beam at you as though you’ve just won a small war, and maybe you have, against bland food, against mediocrity. Cocktails arrive like cheerful conspirators, bright and mischievous, while the scallion bubble pancake balloons into something both absurd and perfect, like life, if you let it. Then comes the Szechuan beef in hot oil, red and glistening, a reminder that pain and pleasure often share the same bed. The stir-fried sweet bean shrimp dances around in colors so beautiful you almost forgive humanity for everything else it’s botched. If aliens came down tomorrow and demanded proof that we still deserved to stick around, I’d take them to Urban Hai and let the spices argue our case.

Urban Hai is so so so good!!! It’s so many vegan options. The food is incredible and the drinks! They have $2 wines for the first glass Monday-Friday before 5 (I think). The food, service and atmosphere is amazing! I highly recommend the spicy crunch tofu, the Singapore noodles, the lo mein, the half duck, grandma’s noodles, bang bang shrimp, the scallion pancake, the soups (yes we tried a bunch of food) you can’t beat the price! This place is incredible! I will be back over and over again!

I went to Urban Hai last night looking for authentic Chinese food and I found it. I had Xiao Long Bao Pork Soup Dumplings and Spicy Chongqing Chicken - both were delicious! The Xiao Long Bao was full of satisfying soup and pork and the Spicy Chongqing Chicken was very spicy - just the way I like it. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful with actual Chinese music playing. Whether for lunch or dinner, I don't think you could go wrong here. Lots of food choices and room for large or small, intimate parties. I highly recommend Urban Hai.

A great authentic Chinese restaurant that’s in Midtown Atlanta. Service is always great with friendly and welcoming servers. The best part is the great food selection. From mild to extra spicy authentic Chinese cuisines with my Chinese colleagues love and keep coming back here. We usually order a variety of dishes and share family style so we all can try everything and we are never disappointed. I’ll probably stop by here over Christmas break for lunch or dinner again

We had a dinner reservation and were able to be seated quickly. Lot of options, and solid Chinese food for the area. I especially enjoyed the calamari dish.
